Providing girls with disabilities access to proper menstrual hygiene products is a crucial, yet often overlooked need. Between April and August 2023, our organization held free sanitary pad distribution events at several locations serving girls with disabilities in the local community. At the Modupe Cole Childcare Treatment Home, Atunda Olu Home for the Physically Challenged, Weseley’s School for Hearing Impaired Children, and Home for the Destitute in Ebute Metta, we were able to directly provide menstrual hygiene supplies to vulnerable girls lacking these resources.
